Welcome to our Biker Friendly Accommodation
The Guest Barn
All our motorbike friendly accommodation is in our Guest Barn, which is separate from the main house and dining room. This ensures guests (and hosts!) have their privacy; no bumping into each other in the corridor.
We’ve tried to think about what makes good motorbike friendly accommodation so all guest rooms have English plug sockets and USB charging points as we know you need to charge your phone, tablet, communication devices and sat nav easily. Additionally, we know there is nothing worse than a small shower and insufficient hot water so we’ve covered those points off as well.
We haven’t however gone over the top with 5 cushions on each bed that you have to chuck on the floor before you can even get into bed! It might look nice but actually it’s a pain and of no benefit to most bikers. We do provide large, fluffy towels though because that is nice….

As you enter the guest barn through the large door with glass surround, you will first come into the Games room with the pool table in front of you.
Up the staircase to the left are 2 twin rooms. These are the original B&B rooms created by the previous owners when this property was also a restaurant. We have fully updated them now to be clean and modern (although some of our early guests who experienced these rooms before they were modernised may be disappointed there is no longer faded pink carpet on the walls….sorry!). All the twin rooms have en-suite shower rooms with good size showers. The two on this side have views beyond the car park.
The staircase to the right takes you up to one of the two newly created twin rooms, which is bright and spacious with a view to the lawn at the front of the barn. The other newly created twin room is accessed via the door to the right (with the wheel) and upstairs, past the bunk room. This is an exact mirror image of the first one, except that the view is towards the main gate at the front of the property.
The 6 bed bunk room also has a view to the lawn and is newly built. It is very spacious with an even larger en-suite shower room. All the bunks have individual lights and charging sockets. On the way up to the bunk room you go past an additional 2 toilets, an additional 2 showers and a large washbasin – this should ensure that the “bunk roomers” don’t have to wait for the bathroom. It also means that if you come back from your ride soaking wet and/or covered in mud you can wash down and put your wet gear in the purpose built drying room before heading back up to your room in the robe and slippers provided.

Getting to 3Bs Biking
There are a number of different options for getting to 3Bs Biking, depending on how many miles you want to put in before getting here.
This probably looks the cheapest option however make sure you factor in any additional overnight stops and fuel on the way to us. Once you get off the train it’s about 730km (450 miles) to us so probably not ideal to try to do in a day unless you are hardcore! A stopover near Le Mans can be good and if you haven’t visited the museum at the 24 hour circuit you really should!
There are regular ferries with Brittany Ferries running to Caen (530km,330miles) , Le Havre (580km, 360 miles) and St Malo (530km, 330 miles). We particularly like the overnight ferry from Portsmouth. You board late in the evening, have a few beers on the ferry, go to bed and wake up refreshed and ready to set off for 3Bs Biking. You should then arrive with us by mid afternoon, depending on how many coffee stops you take and how many times you get lost en route. Once you get to Saint Yrieix La Perche 3Bs Biking is a doddle to find!
There is also the fast ferry to Cherbourg (650km, 404 miles) or Newhaven to Dieppe route (600km, 370 miles) which can be a cheap option. .
If you are booking a ferry crossing with Brittany Ferries please contact us for a discount code before you book.
Limoges airport is quite a busy little airport with regular flights through the summer with Ryanair from Stansted, East Midlands, Leeds, Liverpool and Bristol. British Airways has started flying from Gatwick to Limoges over the summer season. There are also UK flights into Brive-Souillac airport. We can collect you from the airport in Oscar, our minibus, or you can hire a car there. It is also possible to fly to Bordeaux with Easyjet but that is quite a bit further from 3Bs Biking and you would need to hire a car.
The TGV runs from Paris to Limoges so we can collect guests from there if that is your preferred method of transport (and the Limoges train station is stunning!).
