Off Road Motorbiking with 3Bs Biking in France
Your trail bike or ours!
3Bs Biking is set in 25 acres of woodland and fields, complete with a river, and we have plenty of space for experienced and newbie off roaders to challenge themselves.
In addition to our own off road course, France is teeming with great trails of varying difficulty and we’ve done all the hard work to sort out routes for you. You will find few gates (if any), varied terrain, plenty of water (to ride through, not drink!) and a warm welcome on the trails here. We can either help you find some routes or we can guide you for the day or several days. Off road motorbiking holidays in France are amazing!
We have set up an enduro style course on our land with plenty of obstacles to test your skills.
- river crossings
- rock steps
- tyres – steps and climbs
There are some more pictures of the course on our gallery page. Although this is not the complete course, there is much more to explore and enjoy.
The course is always evolving as we think of more obstacles to add.
On the Trails
In addition to our own off road course, France is teeming with great trails of varying difficulty and we’ve done all the hard work to sort out routes for you. You will find few gates (if any), varied terrain, plenty of water (to ride through, not drink!) and a warm welcome on the trails here. The trails are usually very quiet here. Head over to our article on off road motorbiking in France to get more information on generally where you can ride off road in France.
We can either help you find some routes or we can guide you for one day or more. Off road motorbiking holidays in France are amazing!
You can bring your own trail bike or rent one of ours. If bringing your own bike it does need to be road legal in the UK. That means it must be taxed, MOTed and insured for riding in France. Yes, you do need to have a bike licence, just as you would in the UK.
With your own trail bike you can either self guide, using our GPX routes, or we can show you the sights. Please see our article on motorcycling in France for the general laws around motorcycling in France. These laws also apply to off road motorbiking.
We have a full workshop at your disposal should you have any problems with your own bike and can help if you need to source parts etc. If you should breakdown on the trails, a quick call to 3Bs can get you recovered back to base on our trailer. So long as you have some idea where you are! We recommend you use the What 3 Words app to share location details as this is easier than GPS co-ordinates.
We also have a bike wash facility and a purpose built drying room should you need it.
Our most popular self guide package with your own bike is 4 nights stay which allows 3 days off road motorbiking is just €250 per person. This includes evening meals with drinks (wine, beer or soft) and is based on 2 people sharing a twin room. Prices for guiding depend on the number of riders but see our Tariff & Booking page for an idea. Or just drop us a message, using the Contact Us button at the bottom of the page.
Although we have given the tariff for 2 or 3 days, you can of course stay for as many or as few days as you wish. They are just the most popular options.
Those hiring our trail bikes can be picked up from Limoges airport. And you can either bring your own kit or we can supply.
Never tried riding off road? Not sure if you will enjoy it? No worries, we offer ‘have a go’ sessions, priced by the hour so you can do as much or as little as you like.
Rental for Off Road Motorbiking
We continue to offer the AJP PR4 240cc and the PR3 for the shorter in stature. These are hand made in Portugal and are aircooled, 4 stroke bikes which are ideal for our terrain. They are not the quickest on the road but as our road sections tend to be very limited this is not a problem. They are however very light and nimble, have a decent tank range and plenty of power to have a lot of fun! Take a look at AJPs page for more information on the bikes and the company.
If you wish to hire one of our bikes you must be at least 20 years old and have a full licence. This is for insurance purposes. Our insurance cover is third party only and we do ask hirers to pay for any significant damage to the bikes. Of course, we accept that trail bikes are going to hit the dirt frequently so cosmetic blemishes don’t worry us. Luckily as the bikes are not top end enduro machines the repair bill is never likely to be huge. But we do ask guests to respect our bikes as they would their own.
We have a stock of trail riding equipment and clothing if you are new to all this, although an idea of size would be most helpful when you book your hire bike in case we don’t have enough to go round. If you have your own off road kit we do recommend that you bring it with you. Or you can send it on ahead which can often be cheaper than paying for hold luggage on the budget airlines. You will always be more comfortable in your kit than in ours!
We can tailor make a tour to your groups abilities and time available. The Tariff page will give you an idea but is not exhaustive.
